Ping Culture was Ollie’s first leap into entrepreneurship. In 2019, frustrated by how hard it was to discover truly great spots while traveling—bars, restaurants, hidden gems—he set out to fix it. The vision: connect people everywhere to the most incredible experiences at the tap of a button.
Armed with nothing more than beginner-level coding skills and a huge drive to create, Ollie built the first version of Ping Culture while living in Cape Town. What started as a passion project quickly became the foundation of his journey as a founder.
